Quality control at WanLong is not an afterthought — it is integrated into every stage from raw material verification to pre-shipment inspection. We coordinate QC processes across our partner factories, ensuring consistent standards regardless of which factory produces the order.
QC Process Stages
Our quality control follows a three-stage approach aligned with international sourcing best practices.
Incoming Material Inspection
Verify raw material specifications (grade, composition, certification) before production begins.
In-Process Inspection
Check production output at 30%, 60%, and 80% completion milestones — dimensions, finish, assembly, print quality.
Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI)
Full AQL-based inspection per ISO 2859-1 before shipment authorization. Buyers may specify AQL level.

Defect Classification & AQL
We use the AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) system per ISO 2859-1 for pre-shipment inspection. Buyers can specify their acceptable thresholds.

Testing Coordination
We arrange product-specific testing through accredited laboratories. Testing scope depends on material type and destination market requirements.
Food-Contact Migration Testing
FDA (21 CFR 175-177) for US or LFGB / EU Regulation 1935/2004 for EU — specific migration tests per product/material combination.
Chemical & Heavy Metal Analysis
REACH SVHC screening, California Prop 65 (lead, cadmium, phthalates, BPA), PFAS testing for applicable categories and markets.
Compostability Verification
EN 13432 (EU) or BPI (US) biodegradation testing for products marketed as compostable or biodegradable.
Mechanical & Durability Testing
Drop tests, dishwasher cycle tests, corrosion resistance, tensile strength, EN 957 (fitness equipment) as applicable.
Textile Safety (OEKO-TEX)
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 testing for fabric storage baskets, travel accessories, pet textiles, and fitness mats.
Labeling & Marking Compliance
CE marking, FCC labeling, Prop 65 warning labels, FSC logo placement, and regulatory declarations per destination market.
