Testing, Compliance & Factory Documentation
Documentation and testing requirements vary by product, material and destination market. We help buyers identify the relevant requirements and coordinate available factory documents or third-party testing where applicable.
Food-Contact Compliance
FDA 21 CFR (US), LFGB (Germany), and EU Regulation 1935/2004 testing for food-contact materials — migration tests per product/material combination.
EU Market Access (CE & REACH)
CE marking for product safety compliance and REACH SVHC chemical safety screening for plastics, silicone, textiles, metal coatings, and rubber products entering the EU.
US Market Access (Prop 65)
California Proposition 65 testing for heavy metals (lead, cadmium), phthalates, and BPA — critical for cutlery, plastic containers, silicone, and fitness products.
Forest & Compostability
FSC chain-of-custody for paper products (kraft bags, parchment, filters). EN 13432 (EU) and BPI (US) compostability certification for bagasse and PLA products.
Factory Audit Documents
ISO 9001 quality management, ISO 14001 environmental management, and BSCI/SMETA social compliance audit reports available from partner factories.
Third-Party Lab Testing
SGS, Intertek, TÜV, and Bureau Veritas test reports coordinated per product and destination market. OEKO-TEX Standard 100 for textile categories.
What We Don't Do
Being clear about boundaries builds more trust than promises.
- We do not recommend a supplier solely based on the lowest price.
- We do not treat one test report as automatically applicable to every product.
- We do not start production until specifications and packaging details are confirmed.
